The New Hampshire Federation of Teachers is the second largest AFL-CIO Union in
the State of New Hampshire and has over 3,300 members across the State. The
New Hampshire Federation of Teachers is based on the AFT Model and as listed
below has five divisions. The K-12 Division represents teachers, paraprofessionals,
school nurses, guidance counselors, food service workers, custodians, and school
secretaries to name a few. The Higher Education Division represents a private
college faculty and is equipped to represent higher education employees across
the board in both the public and private sector. The NHFT Federation of Public
Employees Division was on the cutting edge in representing public library
employees and is well-equipped to represent public employees in our cities, towns
and counties throughout the State.
